How much should I order?
As a guide, allow around 250–300g of raw joint per adult when served as a main meal with sides.

These are provisional estimates for a boneless stuffed joint. The raw joint weight includes stuffing, so the amount of pork per serving varies. Ask the butchery for advice if you need a particular number of meat portions.

Cooking tips for this cut
Stuffed belly suits slow roasting. Check the temperature in the centre of the stuffing as well as the thickest part of the pork.
Use a clean food thermometer to check that the centre of both the pork and stuffing reaches 70°C for 2 minutes, or 75°C for 30 seconds. Check meat away from bones. Food Standards Agency cooking guidance.
