About us

These terms apply to online food orders from Moss Valley Fine Meats, J & SR Thompson, Povey Farm, Lightwood Lane, Sheffield S8 8BG. Contact us at mossvalleyfinemeats@gmail.com or 0114 239 9922.

Ordering and prices

Select your products, pack sizes and quantities, then review your basket and collection date before submitting your order. Orders are placed in English. Check your confirmation and contact us promptly about any error.

Prices are in pounds sterling and include applicable taxes. Where products are sold by weight, displayed weights and totals are estimates. The final price is calculated from the actual weight prepared at the stated price per kilogram.

Payment and collection

Online orders are collection only from Povey Farm, with no collection charge. Christmas 2026 orders close on 15 December and are collected on your selected date, 22 or 23 December, between 8am and 6pm. Payment is due on collection; cash, card and contactless are accepted. Food information

Contact the butchery before ordering if you need ingredients or allergen information. After collection, keep chilled products refrigerated and follow the storage, use-by and cooking instructions supplied.

Returns and problems

Fresh meat and other perishable food are excluded from the usual 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. Your statutory rights for faulty, unsafe or incorrectly described goods remain unaffected. See our returns and refunds policy, or contact us about a problem. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
